3. Have a full picnic in Prospect or Central Park, with blanket, cheese and wine

I've been waiting for the weather to get better so we could have a picnic in Prospect Park. Originally, when I put this item on my 101 list, I envisioned a romantic setting, like a date. I'm still holding out for that, and it'll happen soon. But in the mean time, and probably loads more fun, was the Memorial Day picnic that Beth organized. The important thing, and why it made it on the list, is that it was a full picnic (including grilled sausages), it was on an Olmsted designed park, there were blankets, and we definitely had cheese and wine.
