36. Learn to sew

I'm going to go ahead and call this one as DONE, even though I didn't "learn" per se.   Actually, I don't know what I was thinking when added this to my list, because I do know how to sew.  I just don't know how to sew anything of value.

So maybe I should have named it, sew an actual wearable item? Pick a pattern and borrow someone's sewing machine?  Ha ha, too bad, I just said learn to sew.  So I'm instructing my faithful readers (all two of you), to see this post about making Ergo drool pads, and see how I was actually sewing.

Some time in the future, when I'm back in Texas and spending time with my mom, I want to make an outfit for LP from scratch.  With my questionable sewing skills I'm going to limit it to Halloween costumes, where details in the stitching won't matter as much.  But that day is way in the future, beyond the deadline of this list project.
