. What do you get when you put two anal retentive people with a design background in charge of wedding invitations? Way too much time spend on picking just the right type of paper and cutting out openings in the invitation cover.
Making them was great. It took five times longer than we originally anticipated, mostly because we are dumba$$es who keep forgetting that using exacto knives is hard work, yo.
I keep saying that we saved a lot of money desinging them ourselves, printing them ourselves on our home computer and cutting and pasting them ourselves. Just the cost of materials.... Plus, at some point, 15 years combined education in fields related to graphics, knowledge of the adobe suite programs, and actually having the adobe programs. It was cheap for us, because we are graphic nerds who enjoy cutting paper and creating maps, but I dont know how much sense it actually would make to other people.
